Dow glitscht in den Keller wie ein Stück Seife aus der Hand

Allerdings trügerisch war er, der Schein, am 6. Mai 2010 um 20:10. Nur mal so und zwischendurch warf ich einen Blick auf die Aktienwerte, die doch heute alle in Echtzeit und kostenlos zur Verfügung stehen. Und sehe bei AAPL einen Verlust von knapp 5%. Sehe 6% Minus bevor ich mich über die 5% wundern konnte, sehe ein Minus von 11% und spätestens bei 20% entsteht klar der Eindruck von Exitus und Aktieninfarkt. Nur rote Zahlen, der Dow Jones verliert 8, 9, kurzfristig 10% und in Griechenland protestieren Griechen gegen Sparbeschlüsse.
Aber alles nur kurz; rasant der Fall, rasch die Erholung. Am Ende des Handelstages immer noch Verluste, aber in anderen Dimensionen. Und Börsianer mit Rätselgesichtern. Was genau, wieso? Mittlerweile scheint ein Grund gefunden: Procter & Gamble fiel um $22.79, oder 37%, und da P&G eine wichtige Aktie ist und eine wichtige Schwelle überschritten wurde, purzelten Verkaufsordern und Kurse und erzeugten einen Malstrom in dem Milliarden von Marktkapitalisierungs-Buchgeld verschwanden… und dann wieder auftauchten.
Warum? Ein Fehler. Wahrscheinlich ein Softwarefehler oder aber der Tippfehler eines Händlers, der den Unterschied zwischen Millionen und Milliarden nicht mehr Ernst genommen hat. Die Systeme sind komplex, die Stimmung nervös, Staatsbankrott wird in den Medien beschrieben, auf der Straße diskutiert, da kann ein kleiner Fehler der Tropfen sein, das Fass läuft über, die Blase verpufft, Vollbeschäftigung für Pleitegeier und Insolvenzverwalter. Nur Burnout hat Hochkonjunktur.
